JANIE THOMAS

Janie's recruiting and training experience commenced 18 years ago, when she set up and ran a successful business in the UK, where she was responsible for the employment and training of all staff, covering administration, sales, marketing and warehousing.

After moving to Australia in 2001, Janie was employed as a Legal Secretary and Paralegal, including within the HR departments of two large law firms. She then went on to practise as a Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer, before joining a large Melbourne-based legal recruitment agency. This led Janie to set up "Index Consulting" and "Index Legal".

Janie has a warm, inviting, down-to-earth manner, with a natural ability to put people at ease. She is a great communicator, speaker and trainer, and is able to instill confidence in others, guiding them towards a rewarding career and motivating them to achieve the successes they deserve.

Janie has a strong awareness of the challenges involved in finding employment and changing careers. She also has a good understanding of the complex emotions and traumas experienced by people who have been retrenched, having first-hand experience of this when two positions she previously held, and one that her husband held, were made redundant.

Janie has helped several hundreds of people to identify, search for and ultimately secure satisfying and rewarding jobs. This includes coaching and training in job searching, interview techniques, professional presentation, resume/letter preparation, mindset and confidence skills – to name just a few.

Janie is a regular speaker and presenter at industry and training events and also speaks at numerous educational institutions throughout Victoria. As a qualified Australian lawyer, she prides herself in her high level of morals and ethics, giving you peace of mind that you are dealing with an ethical and professional organisation.

In addition to being a qualified lawyer, Janie is also a qualified NLP (neuro linguistic programing) Practitioner, a qualified Hypnotherapist and holder of the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment qualification.

AYDA SABRI

Ayda Sabri has over 15 years corporate experience in the fields of human resources; training and development; personal and business coaching; recruitment, business development; project management; and events management.

Ayda is well known and respected in the local business community and is an active networker. She is also an experienced professional speaker who regularly presents on a wide variety of subjects.

Ayda is known for her vibrant, passionate, infectious personality and dynamic approach to life. She has a natural ability to inspire, motivate and energise others and has helped people from all walks of life to achieve richer, more rewarding lives through both career and personal coaching.

Ayda has assisted hundreds of job-seekers with finding a new and rewarding position, including many who have had their positions made redundant. She has also equipped a large number of job-seekers with essential skills needed to gain employment, such as résumé production, interview skills, personal presentation and job-search skills.

Ayda has designed and developed numerous training programs for private and government organisations, including Job Service Providers under the Government’s “Job Services Australia” initiative. Such programs include: induction programs; OH&S training programs; programs for volunteers; programs for Job Services Providers (both consultants and job seekers); and personal development programs. Ayda individually customises all programs to fit with the specific requirements of each organisation.

Ayda is a qualified and certified professional trainer, and also holds qualifications in Human Resources and Business Studies.

DORA TSIPOURAS

Dora Tsipouras has over 15 years experience in management, recruitment, coaching, training and development and public speaking. She has undertaken these roles across a range of industries including telecommunications; direct sales and marketing, for various corporate and industrial sectors.

For the past 11 years Dora has been a specialist employment consultant, providing training and recruitment services and coaching programs to a wide variety of clients, both on an individual basis and in group settings. Dora also personally writes and develops many of the training programs that she presents.

Energetic, creative and results oriented, Dora’s special emphasis is on personal and professional development. She has an amazing natural talent in engaging and energising people, and in inspiring them to fulfil their visions and enjoy more enriching and fulfilling lives.

Dora works closely with her clients to deliver unique, fun highly-interactive and activity-focused training programs that inspire powerful, lasting outcomes. Her programs focus on helping people to develop the attitude, mindset and skills that make their compelling outcomes achievable.
